This event is for our milk_shake partners, stylists and salons, as long as you are over 18 years of age at the time of the challenge.

Taking on this challenge is an exciting opportunity, but it’s important to understand the level of fitness required before you commit.

You do not need to be an elite athlete or an experienced mountaineer. However, you will need a good level of endurance fitness, as you can expect to spend prolonged periods of time on your feet, walking and exercising outdoors, often on hills and uneven terrain.

The key word is endurance. Being able to exercise for a sustained period of time is more important than simply being able to run quickly or lift heavy weights.

The circular route starts and finishes in Weymouth at an agreed location, which will be shared when your final details are sent out 2 weeks before the trip. We will be starting at 7am.

Depending on fitness levels and ability of the individual, the walk will take approximately 9 hours. 

We will have 1 guide per every 10 participants and checkpoints throughout. This will allow for groups to walk at different speeds. 

Our Jurrasic Coast Challenge is an all-day, outdoor activity, and with it being held in October, you will need to plan for all weather conditions. Once you have signed up for the walk you will be sent a kit list to help ensure you are prepared. 

As lots of the walk will be remote on cliff paths, there will not be regular access to shops and facilities.

You will need to bring food and water for the day, to help keep your energy levels up. We will send a provisions list out a few weeks before the challenge to advise you on what food & drink is recommended. But don't worry, this is just advice, you can bring whatever you can carry!

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a UK grant-making charity supporting people affected by breast cancer by funding projects and providing financial support to charities across the UK.   

They particularly champion smaller charities and community projects, helping fund practical and emotional support such as counselling, complementary therapies, specialist equipment and care.  

In short: they help turn fundraising into real, practical support for people affected by breast cancer. 💗
